Sherlock’s Louise Brealey Rebuffs Steven Moffat’s Controversial Comments on Molly Hooper

This is what I think. As a huge Sherlolly fan, I obviously have a lot of opinions.
I think part of the reason Euros made this one of Sherlock’s challenges was that she wanted to see what Sherlock would do to keep his friend safe and see what Molly’s emotional reaction to it would do to Sherlock. I think Sherlock did open up and realize he did have feelings for Molly after it, but I disagree with Moffat when he said that she just got over it. I’m sure Sherlock went and talked to her after the incident and whether she forgave him or not right away I don’t know, but I think she would eventually if he was truly sorry and opened up with his feelings towards her. She came to Baker Street in the end smiling so I’m assuming it ended well.

Molly Hooper’s many fans were left heartbroken by an emotional scene in Sunday’s Sherlock‘s season finale “The Final Problem”. As part of Eurus’ twisted games, she makes Sherlock force Molly to admit her love for him or else she will kill her (it turns out to be a bluff). The perky pathologist is clearly left devastated by the admission, but we didn’t get a scene examining the fallout of that moment.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, writer Steven Moffat explained that he didn’t think such a scene was needed as it was clear that she would get over it:

“She gets over it! Surely at a certain point you have to figure out that after Sherlock escapes tells her, ‘I’m really sorry about that, it was a code, I thought your flat was about to blow up.’ And she says, ‘Oh…

Sherlock Series Four Planned Start Date Revealed

Sherlocks Home

At last! The planned start date for the next series of Sherlock has been revealed…

Paula Kerger, the president of PBS, the American broadcaster of Sherlock, has announced that: “We do have the next Sherlock announced, that is coming up about a year from now.”

Some fans may groan at the news we have to wait another year but at least it will only be 12 more months after we’ve just had the one-off special ‘The Abominable Bride.’ This should also not come as a surprise as series two and three both aired in January as well.

Kerger also reiterated the issues with making Sherlock. “As you know, Benedict has gotten to be somewhat popular since we began our work with him and he very much wants to continue with Sherlock. As you know, they are produced almost like films, and we’re hoping the next one will…

October Wrap-Up and Hello November!

Hi everyone,

Last month I posted about my expectations for October…. And I didn’t get to a lot of them. I didn’t finish the Artemis Fowl series (I actually didn’t even finish the book I’m on) and I didn’t join a new book tag. I did post more Top Tuesdays posts and I did write a new post for Sherlock’s Home (see here).

For November, I absolutely want to AT LEAST finish “The Eternity Code”. That’s my number one goal. And I have a book tag that I’m working on, so hopefully I’ll get to finish that post.

I’m also working on a Sherlock’s Home post and a couple blog awards posts. Those are my top priorities 🙂

I’m also super excited about some awesome releases coming out in November.

There’s one other update that you guys should look in to. It’s called #NaNoWriMo. It’s a challenge to write a novel in the month of November. If anyone’s interested, you should check it out.

That’s it! Until next time!

Have any more exciting updates for November? Comment below!

Star Wars: The Force Awakens – Official Trailer

December 18th everyone!

My Tiny Obsessions

Nothing more exciting than being at Starbucks at 11 a.m. in the middle of Tokyo and finding out that a new Star Warstrailer has been released. I should apologise to the poor souls next to me who had to endure the trailer playing on my phone and my squeaking (and almost tears).

*I’m fangirling bad right right now*

Sherlock’s Top 5 Outfits

Check out my latest post on Sherlock’s Home!

Sherlocks Home

Written by Lauren Shultz

The art of costuming and makeup is severely underrated in the entertainment industry. Of course, we love Sherlock for it’s incredibly clever writing and the amazing actors that star in it; however, it has to be said that the series as a whole would be lacking without the proper outfitting. Imagine Mycroft without his sharp suit, or John without his jumpers or, heaven forbid, Sherlock without his coat! It’s fair to say that the cast’s individual and iconic looks are hugely important to the show’s success. With that in mind, here is a list of the top five outfits Sherlock has ever worn in the series.

5. The Purple Shirt of Sex

This is an outfit that is a favorite of many, many fangirls. To a casual viewer it’s just something Sherlock wears for part of “The Great Game”, but to Benedict Cumberbatch’s admirers it is…

Expectations for October

Hi everyone,

I know I haven’t been posting much 😦 I really want to, I just never have time! I know, you’ve heard that one plenty of times before. So I’m going to suck it up and try to do as much as I can.

I have a list (not a difficult list, to boot) of stuff I want to blog about during the month of October:

Finish the Artemis Fowl series

This one might actually be difficult but it’s my #1 goal for this month. I’ve been taking SOOOO long to read the third one, I’m disappointed in myself.

Write a Top Tuesday post every Tuesday

I should definitely be able to do this, right?

Join a new book tag

Any suggestions?

Write more posts for Sherlock’s Home

I have one that I’m almost finished with that’s shaping up to be pretty awesome!

That’s pretty much it! Until next time!

As always, feel free to comment with anything below!

Emmys! Emmys!

I didn’t watch them (I was watching football instead) but here’s all the info you need!

As you guys probably know, the Emmys were on TV yesterday. Unfortunately, I did not realize this so I procrastinated all my HW until 6:00pm, effectively being unable to watch while CNN kept informing me that OMG LOOK WHO WON AAAHHH. You know, instead of reporting on important things like Donald Trump.

(I’m being sarcastic.)

Also, I didn’t really care about the Emmys. You might be like: OMG how can you not care about the Emmys. WELL I don’t have a good answer. It’s probably because my favorite TV shows never show up on the Emmys (with the exceptions of Sherlock, Parks and Recreation, and Game of Thrones). However, since I run this type of entertainment blog, I feel morally obligated to tell you about my opinions on the Emmys. There aren’t many because I literally have no idea what happened.

One Lovely Blog Award!

Hi everyone,

I got nominated for my first blog award! I’m so happy! Thanks so much to Galaxy Star and Thos Fandoms Tho for nominating me, and thanks to everyone who reads my posts and actually likes them!

OK, so here’s how this award works:

Now I have to think of seven interesting things about me…. OK, here it goes:

1. I’m a biomedical engineering major

2. I go to school in Hoboken, and if you don’t know where that is I’ll show you

hoboken1 hoboken2

Yep, that’s New York. I’m on the other side. Literally on the Hudson river.

3. And yes, I have actually been to New York to do some awesome stuff. I’ve seen pretty much everything in central Manhattan, and I’ve been to a few shows (if you go to any Broadway show in your life go to WICKED it’s the absolute best) and seen Idina Menzel on Broadway (love her so much). I don’t go as much as I should though.

4. I play violin, just like Sherlock (LOL HAHA no I’m definitely not that good, but I do actually play)

5. I’m really not good at this 🙂

6. I snowboard and it’s like my favorite thing ever. I used to ski but then I tried snowboarding and I never went back.

7. and I absolutely LOVE Benedict Cumberbatch

And now the nominations….

I’m still kind of new at this so I don’t really know that many blogs, but I’ll try my best to get close to 15:

G.U.M.: Growing Up Millenial
